My name is Sofi, and I’m from Tomsk, a small city in Siberia. I currently live in Moscow.
I began my higher education at Tomsk State University of Architecture and Building (TSUAB), where I majored in the restoration and reconstruction of architectural heritage.
After completing three years at TSUAB, I moved to Moscow and finished my studies at the Moscow Architectural School, majoring in architecture and urban planning.
After graduation, I joined XOPA Architectural Bureau, where I progressed from architect to junior partner. There, I worked on a wide range of projects and typologies — from individual furniture pieces to large industrial sites.
Later, I worked at SCAPE bureau, focusing on site design and landscaping at the conceptual stage. It was a valuable experience, but I realized I wanted to work more directly with buildings and interiors.
Then I tried working at a large development company. While it gave me important new expertise, I felt it was too early for me as a creative architect — the environment didn’t suit my current goals.
